Day of Worship

Time was created by the Supernatural Power, therefore it is regarded as disrectful to think of one day as holier than the other. All days are the same, God lives above time. In African Traditional Religion, there is no special day of worship. For communal worship, people gather together when they are performing rituals, or when celebrating a special event like the first fruits, or any other thanksgiving, or praying for rain. The day of the ritual is not taken as holier than other days. What is regarded as special is the ritual practice.
